SBS Podcasts

With over 100 hundred podcasts in over 30 languages across multiple formats and podcast platforms, the design of SBS's podcast tiles were in need of new and considered design thinking. We approached the design aiming to balance a need for consistency and instant recognisation with a desire to create unique and aesthetically impactful designs within a small tile. A 3 tiered approach enabled templated tiles such as international language podcasts to be created quickly and easily and featured podcasts with high audience numbers to be created using bespoke illustrated artwork. Every podcast, no matter the scale used a global colour palette and typography system to link them so that at a glance it always felt like SBS.
