2021 Festival Brand
With 3 years of building a Bigsound-verse of strange dystopian futures, 2020 felt time for a change of direction. Initially developed in Feb 2020 then put on ice for a year, the sense of optimism evoked in the brand felt like the perfect antithesis to the current pandemic mood. Based around a series of over 100 characters drawn by Illustrator Sem Han, the brand embraced the randomness with experimental typography, fluoro colour palette and disordered arrangements to create a brand in constant flux, moving forward toward a new future.
